RS-15

RS-15 wurde am 26.12.1994 gegen 03.00 UTC mit einer modifizierten SS-18 (Missile) von Baykonur gestartet. Polare Kreisbahn mit einer Höhe von ca. 2000 km, Inklination von 64° und einer Umlaufzeit von 128 Minuten.
Der Transponder ist in 10 Segmente (mit je 4 kHz Bandbreite) unterteilt, jedes hat eine Sendeleistung von 0,4 Watt. Jedes Segment besitzt eine eigene AGC, somit regeln Krokodile nicht den ganzen Transponder herunter. Die Telemetrie wird in CW gesendet, es werden 16 Datenkanäle übertragen.
