FASTRAC 2 “Emma” – FASTRAC OSCAR-70 (FO-70)

FASTRAC Satellit

Modi

Downlink is 1-Watt, but the antennas are not efficient. You may hear the following:

  • Lots of 9600bps FSK packet data on both downlink frequencies. This will mean the satellites have cross-linked with each other and are exchanging GPS information.
  • A 1200bps packet burst with data every three minutes. This means the satellite you are tuned to is functioning normally, but a crosslink is not occurring at the moment.
  • A 9600bps packet burst every minute. This means the satellite is in safe mode and probably could stand being reset from the ground, but it should eventually sort itself out.

FASTRAC Beacon (BTEXT) Decoder

FASTRAC Beacon (BTEXT) Decoder
